The lady Pirates took a break from practice and went to learn from the Lady Cardinals. They traveled to Lamar University to watch the Lamar vs Baylor softball game Wednesday night. The game was a close one, with Lamar winning 8 to 6. After the game, the Lady Cardinals were so friendly and made such a positive impact on many young softball players, including our Pirates. The Lady Pirates walked away talking about how they look forward to college and would love to be able to experience playing softball at that level. The Lady Cardinals were a good example of how hard work and dedication pays off.

The Lady Pirates played at home on Tuesday and took the win over Bob Hope. Ashlyn Guillory pitched a great game while her teammates backed her up, making some great plays. The Pirates' lineup was strong at bat. Roxy Burge hit one over the fence bringing 3 runs home.
