You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch!! The Elementary was “Grinched” last night. The Grinch and his friends were caught red handed, as they snuck in and out with Christmas trees and Whoville characters. 😊

They are working hard and have been very well behaved, as they always are. We are proud of them all. Thanks to Mrs. McGallion and everyone else who has helped today, as well as to the PTO for providing the Hospitality Room.😊

Brrrr!!! It’s cold inside the Penguin Patch at the Elementary. Students started their Christmas shopping bright and early this morning. Santa’s elves will be here all week to assist students, if they would like to shop. 😊

Today, we are thankful for....... 1st grade students have been writing in their journals all year. This week, they wrote about their Thanksgiving. Mrs Sirmons said, “They have been doing a great job with their writing, and this is the first time for them to share in front of the class. They had fun reading them to their classmates.” 😊

What is your favorite variable? I’m not sure. It’s always changing. 😆 5th grade students were busy testing variables in experimental investigations today. 😊

Kids get ready to shop til you drop! The Penguin Patch is coming to school next week. Elementary students will have an opportunity to purchase gifts, all by themselves, for their loved ones. This is a great way for kiddos to learn the act of giving, and the joy it brings. The PTO will be available to offer assistance to students, so they can truly surprise their loved ones with wrapped gifts. We just cannot guarantee, in all of their excitement, they will wait until Christmas morning to have you open it. 😊

Hurry up, we’re burnin’ daylight! 2nd graders stepped back in time yesterday, as they traveled to Heritage Village in Woodville. They were treated to a walking tour of a collection of pioneer buildings dated between the 1840's and 1920's. 😊
