Polar Express Day at Spurger Elementary was a big hit. Students and teachers alike enjoyed hot chocolate while watching movies.


The administration team went above and beyond today by giving special gifts and feeding the staff for both campuses. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made everyone feel appreciated. Huge thanks to our incredible admin team for their kindness and generosity! Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Break will be December 23- January 6. Classes will resume Tuesday, January 7, 2025. We are hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday break. We can't wait to see everyone next year!

Kindergarten students wrote letters to Santa. They were all smiles when they put their letters in the mailbox.

Teachers and staff at the elementary welcomed our car riders this morning with donuts and Christmas songs! One of our favorite days of the year!

Fourth grade took their annual field trip to the Tyler County Courthouse. They participated in a mock trial and other activities. It was a great learning experience for all.

Before we got out for Thanksgiving break, the third-grade students completed a writing assignment about what they are thankful for. They were all smiles as they wrote about the things they are grateful for.

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Class on their first win for our Battle of the Classes competition. The 8th grade turned their hallway into Jurassic Park for our 90s Homecoming! Way to go 8th Grade!
