Last Friday, Mrs. McGallion's 7th grade math students were able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine while working on two step equations and a fun “he said, she said” math activity over equations and inequalities!
On Wednesday, the 5th and 6th graders read books for National Read a Book Day!

Junior High students participated in an inferencing mystery in Mrs. Gibson's ELA class. They had to find clues and try to uncover who stole a painting!
The Hydration Donation Drive was a great success! Thank you to everyone who donated water and Gatorade to our local fire department. It is very much appreciated! Spurger ISD filled 3 truck beds. Mrs. Crain's class was the winners for the most cases donated. They will receive an ice cream party next Friday!

1st grade sight word hunt and flash card partner game Mrs. Sirmons hides sight words around the room and students have to look to find the word she is asking for.
Red Ribbon Week will be October 23-27.
Mrs. Bell's 6th grade students are working on multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. They are applying their new skills to a real life scenario by making multiple batches of a recipe.
2nd graders are learning how to bundle ones, tens, and hundreds all the way to 1,200!
