Volleyball Updates!
On Friday August 23rd, JV will play first at 4:30 and Varsity will follow.
On Monday August 20th, JV and Varsity will both play.

VOLLEYBALL UPDATE!!
Friday, August 16th time for the volleyball game has changed and Varsity will begin at 4:00 pm.
Also, August 22, the Warren Tournament games are at 12:00, 2:00, and 5:00. Saturday game times will be determined after Thursday play.

Elementary Meet the Teacher will be August 9th from 1PM to 3PM. Come meet your child's teacher and drop off their supplies.
Just a reminder that Parent Portal Registration must be completed before your student can be added to a Teachers Roster.

Spurger ISD has qualified to operate CEP under The National Lunch and Breakfast Programs for the 2024-2025 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at NO CHARGE. So for the 2024-2025 school year ALL STUDENTS will receive breakfast and lunch for FREE. This does not include any snacks items, entrees or 2nd meals. Those items will be for sale in the cafeteria. Students will not be allowed to charge snack items, 2nd meals or entrees. They will either have to use cash or money in their account to purchase snack items, entree items or 2nd meal. Parents/Guardians may go to lunch count now on the website to put money on the child’s account.

Mandatory practice will begin on August 5, 2024, for grades 9-12. Any athlete that did not have a physical at the end of the 2023-24 school year must have one prior to practicing. We will practice 2 times a day from 7am-9am and 3pm-5pm Monday-Thursday. Friday, August 9th, we will scrimmage Evadale in Evadale at 1pm. On Saturday, we will scrimmage Lighthouse in Spurger beginning with JV at 10 am, then varsity will follow. Athletic clothes and lockers will be assigned on the morning of August 5th. Please be sure to bring a water bottle.
