PINK OUT DAY 2023
SHS cross country teams competed last Wednesday in West Sabine. Roxy Burge brought home 4th place for the JV girls, Isaac Donatucci came in 8th place for the JV boys, and Josh Grissom, Zechariah Grissom, and Landon Heim finished 3rd for the Varsity boys. Everyone ran a great race and we are so proud. Keep up the great work, Pirates!

Today is National Talk Like A Pirate Day. It is a fun and perfect day to be a Spurger Pirate!
4th grade conducted science experiments about matter.
Pre-K students received a coin for writing their name! Way to go!
Mrs. Fontaine's 8th grade science students learned about the scientific method using Mentos and Coke!
Forensics students also learned about lifting fingerprints from surfaces!
Community and Pink Out Pep Rally! September 26, 2023 following the girls volleyball game @ 4:30. Also, PINK OUT DAY for the Elementary will be September 26th. Wear as much pink as you can to show your support!
6th Graders had to make a presentation on the cultures of different countries. Each student had to pick a country and research the culture, make a slideshow, and present it to the class.
Grandfriends Day 2023! We would like to thank all of our visitors for coming to eat and visit with the elementary students. We absolutely love to see all of the happy faces this day brings!
Mrs. Green's forensics students were able to do some hands-on learning outside by measuring blood splatter from the point of impact!
Elementary: National Talk Like A Pirate Day will be Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Come to school dressed in your pirate attire.
